(Chris Kemp)

When I was, just a, little, baby boy,
Well I was, really, happy, with my toys.
But I am a man today, and sad to say,
I never know which way to go, so,
Feelin’, just a little bit,

Like a man who’s got a problem,
Like a chicken on a farm,
Like a little bit o’ money won’t do you any harm.
I’m a simple-hearted person,
Like a swimmin’ in the sea,
But I gotta learn from someone what I’m gonna be.

When I was, sixteen, carefree, and in love,
Well I was, really, happy; got the shove!
So I am alone today, sad to say,
Someone tell me where to go, so,
Feelin, just a little bit,

Like a man who’s got a problem,
Like a chicken on the farm,
Like a little bit o’ money can’t do you any harm.
I’m a simple-minded person,
Like a watchin’ my TV,
But I really gotta know what I’m supposed to be.
Wo-oh-oh….

But I am a man today, sad to say,
Never knowin’ where to go, so,
Feelin’, just a little bit,

Like a man who’s got a problem,
Like a chicken on a farm,
Like a little bit o’ money won’t do you any harm.
I’m a simple-hearted person,
Like a swimmin’ in the sea,
But I’ve had it up to here

Enough’s enough, it’s enough,
‘n I can’t make it on my own,
Enough’s enough, it’s enough,
So don’t leave me on my own.  (etc)
